It is heartening to tell you that 4^th International Jain Conferences will be organized on 11-12 January 2025 in Ahmedabad. The first three International Jain Conferences were successfully held here. These were very much welcomed by the Jain society and the Academic World. We are now delighted to welcome you to the 4th International Jain Conference.

This year is the 2550^th year of the Nirvana Kalyanaka of Bhagawan Shri Mahavir Swami. Celebrations are being held all over the country. On this occasion, it is appropriate to organize a conference on the subject of Contribution of Jainism in the year 2550 after Mahavira Swami.

If we think about the history of the years, we realize that Jainism has been spread in many ways in the World, it has not been documented yet, hence the youth of the modern era do not have the slightest idea about the contribution of Jainism, if we talk about the teachings of Jainism and that too with proof. And if presented logically, it will have a huge impact. Since this topic is very broad and a lot of material will be available on it, hence we may plan which the importance of the best of Jainism has been presented in various formats viz. books and electronic media.

Contribution of Jainism to the economic and social sphere:

Acharyas, sadhus, sadhvajis, Kings, ministers, Merchants, Shravaka-Shravikas who are influential in Jainism, have a great contribution in all types of Emergencies. Disasters on the nation like draught, heavy rains, Natural calamities, earthquakes, accidents etc., during the time of various types of calamities the Jain has donated to, forgetting the discrimination of religion without any kind of caste discrimination of the country society and human beings, and has played an important role in liberating the country from disasters. Therefore, if all these things are presented with authoritative information, then today’s young generation can get a lot of benefit, so if research articles are written by the scholars on the occasion of 2550 Nirvan Kalyanaka of Bhagwan Mahavir Swami, then the present and future generations will be of great benefit.

We may also discuss and highlight the Jaina’s contribution of 2550 years to the Art, Sculpture and Architecture, science, scientific living method etc. Similarly, the contribution of Jains in the field of literary, philosophical and theoretical in the 2550-years are very important for the mankind. This long-time unit of 2550 year is unique, but there have been no discussions about it, so when there is a discussion about these subjects, they are often silent.

As the third International Jain Conference was successfully organized, it has been considered briefly, now many scholars and members are waiting for the fourth International Jain Conference.
